Odd Down’s hopes of a third successive victory were put on hold by the weather.

The Down recorded back-to-back successes against Keynsham Town (on Boxing Day) and Welton Rovers (on Saturday 10th January) in Jewson Western League Division One but they had no scheduled match on Saturday 17th January.
So all eyes were on the Saturday 24th January encounter against struggling Cheddar at Bowdens Park.
However, the game against the Cheesemen was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch, meaning that Odd Down will have to wait until their trip to AEK Boco on Saturday 31st January for the chance to extend their winning run.
While the Down are in 14th place in the table, South Gloucestershire outfit Boco are in eighth position, having won 10 of their 24 games.
When the sides met at the Lew Hill Memorial Ground in September, Boco scored twice in each half to secure a 4-0 victory.
Kick-off at Greenbank Recreation Ground on Saturday will be at 3pm.
The match at Cheddar has been rearranged for Tuesday 3rd March (7.45pm).
Also beaten by the weather on Saturday 24th January were Odd Down Development.
They were due to receive Pilton United in the Bryan Wells Charity Cup second round but the match was called off because of another waterlogged pitch.
The tie will now be played on Saturday 7th March (2pm).
By a quirk of the fixture list, the Devs will entertain Pilton on Saturday 31st January in a Clark Cup quarter-final (2pm).
Meanwhile, Odd Down Development have been drawn at home to Minehead-based Alcombe Rovers in the Somerset Intermediate Cup fourth round.
The fixture will be played on Saturday 21st February – but with the Down’s seniors being at home to Longwell Green Sports in the Western League that afternoon, the county-cup clash will be played elsewhere. It will now take place at Odd Down Sports Ground (2pm).
Alcombe are long-standing members of the Taunton & District League. They currently hold fourth place in Division One.
