Odd Down Women bow out of league cup, Bath City Women rained off
Odd Down Women were unable to record another giant-killing when they faced Banwell Ladies in the Somerset County Women’s League Cup on Sunday 30th November.

The North Somerset villagers, from Division One, triumphed 4-3 at the Lew Hill Memorial Ground in the third round.
Ella Ashley (2) and Erin Cahoon netted for the home side, whose player of the match was Isabella Chee. The game was poised at 2-2 at half-time.
The Down, who are chasing the Division Two championship, dispatched another Division One team, Bath City Women Development, 5-3 in the second round on Sunday 28th September.
Odd Down will return to league duty on Sunday 7th December, when they travel to Taunton to take on Staplegrove Ladies (2pm).

Bath City Women were out of action on Sunday 30th November – because their Shield Services Group South West Regional Women’s League Division One North derby at Bitton was called off because of a waterlogged pitch.
The Romans will do battle with Cirencester Town Ladies at the Cannon Clarke Stadium @ Twerton Park in a league fixture on Sunday 7th December (2pm).
Bath City Women Development had no scheduled match on Sunday 30th November but are due to host Nailsea United Women at Peasedown St John Recreation Ground in Somerset County Women’s League Division One on Sunday 7th December (2pm).
Meanwhile, Bath City’s women and girls were at the club’s men’s Enterprise National League South game against Enfield Town on Saturday 29th November, parading before the crowd and showing off their trophies.
The visit was part of the club’s celebration of women’s and girls’ football.
