Larks sink Pirates after home victory over Cymru South visitors

Larkhall Athletic are in buoyant mood after two victories in pre-season friendlies over the past few days.

They followed up an excellent 2-0 home win over Welsh side Newport City on Saturday 18th July by seeing off Bristol Rovers U18 1-0 at the Camella Stadium on Tuesday 21st July.

Both of the goals against Newport – who play in Novira Cymru South, the second tier of football in the principality – came in the second half, Milo Murgatroyd and Lewis Graham on target.

Ryan Beckinsale nabbed the winner against the Pirates.

Next up for the Larks is a friendly against uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division outfit Devizes Town at the Camella Stadium on Saturday 25th July (3pm).

Larkhall Development will entertain Jewson Western League Division One team Welton Rovers at the Camella Stadium in a friendly this evening, Thursday 23rd July (7.30pm).
