Odd Down took on neighbours Radstock Town for the second time this season – and once again the points were shared.

The teams met at Southfields on Tuesday 9th September in Jewson Western League Division One and drew 1-1, the Down having led at the interval.
It was a mirror image of what happened at the Lew Hill Memorial Ground on Tuesday 12th August, when Odd Down were ahead at half-time but were pegged back for a 1-1 league stalemate.
The Down had the ball in the Miners’ net after only four minutes in the return match, only for the ‘goal’ to be ruled out for offside.
However, in front of a derby crowd of 102, the guests nudged ahead 11 minutes later through Jake Curtis.
A piledriver from Joel Kirby put Radstock back on terms in the 67th minute.
And Town thought they had struck again six minutes later, only for the effort to be offside.
The result left the Down in 11th place in the table. Radstock are stuck in 18th spot, just above the danger zone.
Odd Down will be back in action at the Lew Hill Memorial Ground on Saturday 13th September when they receive Avonmouth in the league (3pm).
And the Down face another Division One derby on Tuesday 16th September when they visit Welton Rovers (7.30pm).
The West Clewes side are having another wretched season, lying second-bottom with no wins after relegation from the Premier Division in 2024-25 when they recorded only one victory in 38 attempts.
