The Recreation Ground Trust (RGT) have published a public notice regarding a new five year lease with Bath Rugby, and the trust is looking for support from the public.

This agreement provides the Rugby Club with a lease for an area of land on which the Seasonal East Stand is erected each year.

It also provides the Recreation Ground Trust  with a secure income stream for five years to invest in amateur sport and charitable activities at the Rec.

The Public Notice is inviting comments before the end of the 28 day consultation period.

You can provide your comments and show your support by 25th August 2014.

Any representations about the proposal should be made in writing and sent by email to;

  • [email protected], or by post to:
  • The Administrator, Bath Recreation Ground Trust, Lewis House, Bath, BA1 1JG,

Bath Rugby remain focused on securing its long-term future at the Rec and this Public Notice is separate to the Club’s main plans to redevelop their ageing facilities.
