Sirona’s first four apprentices have become full-time employees and joined chief executive Janet Rowse and head of HR Liz Richards for a celebration to mark National Apprenticeship Week.

Karen Gleave, from Sirona’s Learning and Development department, said: “Sirona has made an organisational commitment to support young people and offer them an opportunity to undertake an apprenticeship in a variety of workplace settings.
“Currently Sirona we have seven in the following areas – healthy Lifestyle Service, Reablement Service, Stroke/Neuro Rehab Team, Finance, Day Services for people with learning disabilities and Extra Care Service
“We have been celebrating not only “Apprenticeship week” but our first four apprentices have now completed their year and as of today are now full employees of Sirona Care & Health.
“It has been a great year for us, we were nominated in the “Bath Apprenticeship Awards” and Zoe Ware one of the young people in the photograph was also crowned “Apprentice of the Year” with in Sirona.
“Not only has the benefit been for the young people with in our local community and helping to support people into work, but Sirona has also benefitted from the apprenticeship scheme being able to “grow its own” by shaping the workforce of the future and embedding our values and culture.
“We will be actively recruiting for new apprentices in the coming months on the back of the successful year that we have had.”
