Project and construction management firm RISE has identified Bath as part of their South West of England stage of its regional expansion.
The new RISE office located in Bath will be targeting new projects in the South West region and will enable RISE to secure closer links with a growing economic hub of developers and construction groups active in the area.
Gareth Stapleton, director of RISE, said: “We are delighted to have expanded our presence to Bath and the South West and are proud to endorse a move away from the London-centric growth of the economy to support the development of the regions.
“We hope that Bath will be the first of many offices outside London. Glasgow and Manchester are also a focus for our future growth.”
The decision to open the new office follows a series of high-profile project wins, including the prestigious £6 million contract to deliver the UK’s Pavilion at the Milan Expo 2015.
RISE will work alongside its strategic partner Stage One to build the pavilion that will represent the UK on the world stage.
Among other projects, the company is also currently managing the construction of Bow Street Hotel, a luxury boutique hotel in a 19th century Grade II listed building in London, and Bear Gardens, a regeneration scheme that includes a contemporary 60 unit apart hotel, retail and gallery spaces in the cultural quarter of Bankside in London.
RISE, which has its headquarters in Borough, London, was established in 2011 by directors Gareth Stapleton, Bob White and Ian Eggers.
The new office, located at 7 Riverside Court in Bath, will be managed by RISE senior associates Nigel Stapleton and Graham Lewis.
