Bath & North East Somerset Council have said they are saddened to learn of the death of former councillor, David Bellotti, who passed away on Wednesday (10th June).

David, on the left, passed away on Wednesday morning.
Mr Bellotti died following a serious illness which was diagnosed six months ago.
David was elected as councillor on Bath & North East Somerset Council for the Lyncombe ward in 2003 and served continuously until May 2015.
As well as being committed to his ward work, he served the community as Council Chairman from 2008 to 2009 and was the Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Resources from May 2011 to May 2015.
He also served as Vice Chairman on the Avon Pension Fund Committee and Chairman of the Pension Fund Investment Panel.
The Council said in a statement that it expresses its deepest sympathy to David’s family and friends at this sad time.
