The inaugural Ben’s Best of Bath Business Awards, launched by MP Ben Howlett and celebrating the best of independents in Bath, has already seen over 50 local independent businesses nominated in the five categories.

The categories are:

  • Best independent retailer;
  • Best independent café;
  • Best independent restaurant;
  • Best window display in an independent;
  • Best independent newcomer – launched since the 2015 General Election (7th May).

The awards are supported by the FSB and a panel of illustrious judges including Angela MacAusland from the FSB and Louise Pryn CEO of the Bath BID and given their success in previous awards, Martin Tracy of the Framing Workshop.

The event is being sponsored by Colorworks the Printers with more sponsorship opportunities available. Any local interested businesses should contact Ben directly for more info.

Anyone can nominate an independent Bath business (which needs to be located within the Bath parliamentary constituency) for one of the awards above.

You can nominate by submitting no more than 100 words via email to: [email protected], on Twitter using the hashtag #BBBBA or via Ben’s Facebook page.

The closing date for entries is the 31st March 2016, so nominate your entry soon.
