Whilst crisscrossing the country on Monday, the Conservatives IN Battle Bus, as part of its nationwide tour, arrived in Bath to encourage local residents to vote to remain as part of the European Union.

Conservatives IN is supporting the cross-party Britain Stronger in Europe Campaign by making the Conservative case for EU membership.

Ben Howlett, MP for Bath, is a supporter of Britain remaining in the EU.

He said: “It was great to have the Battle Bus here yesterday helping us campaign for EU membership from a Conservative perspective. It will really help us to gather momentum and build on a positive start.

“I have already been out campaigning with Conservatives IN Bath over the past few weeks and we have received a really positive response from voters.

“The bus is a big statement that there is a high degree of support for EU membership amongst many Conservatives.

“We are all very passionate about making the Conservative case for EU membership that gives Britain free trade with the rest of Europe, provides economic and political stability in an uncertain world and strengthens our national security.”

“I am looking forward to continuing to make this case as the campaign enters its final three weeks.”

Conservatives IN Bath will continue to campaign throughout Bath in the next few weeks, and if you would like to get involved you can contact them via: [email protected].
