Avon and Somerset Police in Bath are appealing for information to find whoever was responsible for slashing the tyres of nine 4×4 vehicles in the Bathwick Hill area.

All the offences are believed to have happened overnight on Monday 9th December – Tuesday 10th December in Bathwick Hill, Sydney Buildings and Darlington Place.

In every case the vehicles involved were high-end 4x4s, two with private number plates. All had both front tyres punctured. There was no attempt to break into any of them.

The cars include an Audi Q7, a Mercedes ML320 and several Land Rovers.

Police have been carrying out patrols of the area looking for anyone suspicious.

Neighbourhood officers have carried out house-to-house inquiries and have been offering crime prevention advice to residents.

Anyone with information is asked to call Bath police on 101.
