Avon and Somerset Police in Bath are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a young man in Stall Street in the city centre early on Sunday morning (8th June).
They want to hear from anyone who saw the man being chased near Marks and Spencer at around 2am.
CCTV pictures show the incident, in which the 21-year-old victim was punched once in the face.
He was treated in hospital for cuts and bruises to his mouth.
Police also have CCTV pictures of potential witnesses.
They say there were a number of people in the Stall Street area at the time, and they would like anyone who saw what happened to call them on 101, quoting crime reference number 57102/14.
