There are plans to turn a three-bed home in Odd Down into a five-bed house in multiple occupation (HMO).

The scheme submitted to Bath & North East Somerset Council is for 118 Frome Road. The applicant is Bath Lettings Ltd.

The proposal involves internal works to create a fourth bedroom and adding a fifth by converting the garage.

The garage door will be replaced with a window.

The proposal includes improving the property’s EPC (energy performance certificate) rating to the required C by making changes, including improving the lightbulbs and insulating the roof and hot water tank.

The three car parking spaces will be retained and five cycle spaces created.

The application says a dedicated, screened area will be created in the rear garden for storing waste.

The planning reference is 25/02986/FUL and the deadline for comments is 29th October.
