A crash on the M4 Eastbound between J18 for Bath and J17 for Chippenham has left thousands of commuters diverting through the area.

This image, from Highways Agency motorway cameras, shows the extent of the queues
The incident, which happened at around 6am, involves a lorry with what are believed to be gas canisters on board. The car has overturned and is in the middle of the motorway.
The scene has left the eastbound side of the M4 completely blocked, leaving the emergency services no option but to set up diversions.
The recommended diversion for motorists is to exit at J18, follow the solid black square symbol on the road signs, follow the A46 south via the A420 east, then join the A350 north to rejoin the M4 at J17.
Queuing traffic to J18 is being reported as over two miles long, back to Bristol at J19.
The entry slip road to the M4 at J18 has also been closed.
It is believed the road will be re-opened during the next few hours.
