Radstock Youth Hub, run by the Council, is offering young people in the community aged 16 to 19 a new drop-in service on Monday afternoons.

The sessions will run at the Hub in Church Street, Radstock, from 12.30pm to 2.30pm every Monday.

As well as those aged 16 to 19, young people not in education, employment or training are particularly welcome to attend.

There will be youth workers on hand to offer support, information and advice as well as additional help to create CVs or apply for work or college places.

Cllr Dine Romero (Lib-Dem, Southdown), Cabinet Member for Early Years, Children and Youth, said: “The new drop-in sessions will not just be about helping people get into education, work or training.

“We’ll also have a fun programme of activities from cooking for the coffee bar to getting creative using the Radstock Youth Hub’s fantastic facilities.

“Bath & North East Somerset Council is committed to offering these kinds of activities to help young people make a positive difference to their lives and communities – therefore people can also find out about local volunteering opportunities.”

If you would like more information please contact Steff Reynolds on 07530 263439 or Kelly Barresi 07875 488782 or just drop into Radstock Youth Hub.
