Nearly one thousand homes on the outskirts of Bath have lost power this afternoon after a fault caused a mass power cut.
992 homes to the north and east of Bath have lost electricity, with other homes in the city suffering continual drops in power for a few seconds at a time.
Western Power Distribution is believed to be investigating the fault, which originated in Bathampton, with an estimation of supplies being restored by 4pm.
Power supplies in Bathampton, Bathford, Swainswick, Grosvenor Place, Larkhall and on the London Road have been affected.
