Bath law firm Mogers has received its fourth accolade in six months being the first in the city to be awarded a prestigious Law Society Quality Mark.
The Queen Square based firm is only the second company in the South West to receive the Law Society’s Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme Best Practice Quality Mark.
Partner Nicola Owen said: “We are absolutely delighted. The WIQS scheme from the Law Society provides a best practice quality mark for wills and estate administration advice that consumers can trust.
“The accreditation comes on top of Mogers being named Law Firm of the Year 2013 for demonstrating overall excellence and significant progress.
“Receiving the Quality Mark is further assurance for clients and potential clients that we are a firm they can trust for service and delivery of what they need, when they need it.
“Our clients are at the very heart of what we do and this quality mark is there to reassure them that they are getting the best advice possible.”
As well as being named Law Firm of the Year in the prestigious LawNet Awards 2013, five lawyers from the firm were named as leaders in the legal profession’s Bible, Chambers UK 2014 Guide and two of its team were featured in the Legal 500 UK; another prestigious guide to the country’s top lawyers.
Practices applying for the Quality Mark must demonstrate compliance with the Wills and Inheritance Protocol which sets out standards to ensure transparency in process, costs and communications.
Mogers is to merge with West Country-based law firm Dyne Drewett from 1st June 2014. The merger will see the two firms operating under a new name but until then it is business as usual for both companies.
