As the Great Bath Feast comes to an end, The Fine Cheese Company is bringing together over 30 artisan cheese makers from all over the country to Milsom Place this Saturday.
After something sweet at the Great Bath Bake Sale head to the all-day event which takes place in the Octagon this Saturday at Milsom Place and is free entry.
There will be a chance to sample Staffordshire cheese, now being made after an absence of more than 30 years and the 2013 Supreme British Champion Cheese: Tunworth will be there with maker Stacey Hedges.
Other award winners not to miss include Appleby’s of Hawkstone Abbey Farm with their award winning Cheshire, Cornish Cheese Co. with their 2010 World Cheese Awards Champion; Cornish Blue which also won Best Blue and English Cheese in 2007, Hampshire Fine Cheeses with their Tunworth – twice British Supreme Champion cheese (2006 and 2013) and Keens Cheddar who won 2013 Global Cheese Awards 2013 UK Supreme Champion and Best Regional Cheese for their Mature Cheddar.
Fine Cheese Co. will also be showing just how many different ways you can accompany cheese with various flavours of crackers and fruit chutneys. Round off your visit with a tipple of Somerset Cider Brandy, who will also have a stand at the festival.
The Great Bath Bake Sale which took place at Bath Abbey on Saturday raised over £2,300 for the Footprint appeal.
