Miller & Carter, one of the UK’s top steakhouses, has opened a new restaurant in Bath at the top of Milsom Street.

The steakhouse, which opened on 29th November 2013, has created 50 jobs and adds to the area’s strong mix of dining options.

Following a major refit, the new steakhouse has created dining spaces for 122 in the ground floor restaurant and a further 44 in three private dining areas located on the first floor.

Miller and Carter is a specialist steakhouse offering quality food in a relaxed, informal environment, from historic coaching inns to restored barns, chic shopping centres and even a boat.

Serving only beef reared especially for Miller & Carter from handpicked British farms, Miller & Carter has eight cuts of steak available; each expertly cut, bloomed and grilled to order.

Lisa Johnston, General Manager at Miller & Carter Bath, said: “We are really pleased with the site of the restaurant; stylish Milsom Street is an ideal backdrop for Miller & Carter, with its friendly, sophisticated buzz and grand town house heritage.

“In addition to this, we are delighted to present private dining rooms as an option for guests to the restaurant, to create an even more personal experience for those who visit us for special occasions.

“We have an extensive menu with something to suit every taste. For those anywhere near as passionate about steak as we are, then Miller & Carter should be at the top of the ‘to do’ list.”
