A man had his iPhone stolen as he took a photo of his friends with the Honey Monster in Bath on Saturday.
The theft happened between 5.15pm and 5.55pm on Saturday evening (30th November) at Bath rugby club.
The victim was on the river path near the exit gate taking a photo of some friends with the Honey Monster mascot when the phone was snatched out of his hands.
The victim and his friends chased the thief but he threw the phone in the river before running off towards North Parade Road.
An investigation has begun to identify the person responsible and we would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the theft or seeing the offender leaving the area.
