Adults with a physical disability and/or sensory impairment are being invited to help the Council shape its plan for future social care.

The Council is holding a public consultation to plan how best to deliver social care services which meet the needs of people with physical disabilities and/or sensory impairments aged 18-64 years old.

Councillor Simon Allen (Lib-Dem, Radstock), Cabinet Member for Wellbeing, said: “We are keen to gain a better understanding of people’s experiences so we can ensure that the money which Bath & North East Somerset Council has available is spent on the services that are needed.

“We have put together a short survey for you to complete – this is your opportunity to tell us what you think and tell us how we can make improvements.”

You can go to www.surveymonkey.com/s/37V8F3M  to complete the survey or you can access it on the Council’s consultation webpage.

The consultation runs until 28th February 2014.

If you have any questions or would like the survey in a different format please contact Sadie Webber by email: [email protected] or call 01225 477986.

Members of groups or organisations who would like to find out more about the survey are also welcome to get in touch.
