Avon and Somerset Police’s helicopter took to the skies above Bath last night to locate an Aston Martin that had been stolen in Weston.

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary at a house in Weston Park, Bath and the theft of the £80,000 Aston Martin car.

The owner reported it being driven away at around 1.50am this morning, Wednesday 23rd April.

He later found that his home had been broken into.

The Aston Martin Rapide, fitted with a tracking device, was followed by police cars and the police helicopter along the A36 towards Limpley Stoke and back again into the city.

It was found abandoned in Darlington Place at 2.20am and the three men were arrested shortly afterwards nearby in Sydney Wharf.

The men, aged 23, 34 and 46 are currently in custody at Bath police station and are being questioned.
