A pop-up vaccination clinic offering protection against Covid-19 is being held at Bath City FC’s Twerton Park site today and tomorrow, Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th January.

Vaccination teams will be at Twerton Park between 11am and 7pm each day, to offer first, second and booster doses to all eligible adults over the age of 18.
No appointment will be necessary for people wishing to get vaccinated, however those requiring a booster vaccine will need to have waited at least three months since the date of their second dose.
Twerton Park is the latest venue to host a pop-up Covid-19 vaccine clinic, and follows on from other venues across Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire.
Joy Saunders, Community Director at Bath City Football Club, said: “We are pleased to play our part in combating coronavirus by hosting the vaccination bus and giving people another opportunity to get their vaccines locally.
“In addition to the large vaccination centre at Bath Racecourse, this pop-up clinic in the heart of Twerton will give local people a community-based alternative to where they receive the vaccine.
“Anyone wishing to use this service is encouraged to head to Twerton Park, the home of Bath City Football Club, on either Wednesday or Thursday.”
Vaccines will not be available for children aged between 12 and 17-years-old during this clinic, however those in this age group can still get protected by visiting one of the many fixed vaccination sites across the region.
Bath Racecourse currently has good appointment availability for people of all ages, and can also offer the vaccine to people without a booking.
Latest figures show that while around 85 per cent of all adults across the region have had a booster vaccine, more than 82,000 are still yet to have a single vaccination.
Approximately 35,000 people in Wiltshire are without the vaccine, while in Bath and North East Somerset and Swindon the figure stands at around 24,000 and 22,000 respectively.
