The new centre at the hospital at Peasedown St John is set to open in December.

The hospital, which was opened in 2010 by Circle Health and bought by the NHS in 2021, is closely affiliated with the Royal United Hospital in Bath.

Roles at the new centre (SEOC) range from clinical to support staff in departments from radiology to in-patients and hospitality to hospital administration.

The hospital supports flexible working. New staff will be recruited for SEOC but will work across Sulis Hospital, which is rated as Outstanding for Caring and Good Overall by the Care Quality Commission.

In addition to private healthcare provision, the £25 million SEOC will increase capacity and improve access for NHS patients.
