Local residents are being invited to take advantage of a new online booking system to self-refer for the Talking Therapies service.

Bath & North East Somerset, Swindon, and Wiltshire (BSW) Talking Therapies has introduced the system so patients can book their first assessment online at a time convenient to them.

BSW Talking Therapies is run by Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust and aims to help people manage a range of common mental health problems including anxiety, stress, depression and low mood.

The service is free and confidential for people who are registered with a GP in the BSW area.

Aileen McArthur, Head of Talking Therapies said: “By being able to book your own appointment online we hope we have made accessing our service even easier and encourage people to come forward and get the help they need.”

To self-refer via BSW B&NES, visit the link here.
