Members of the public are invited to The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), being held on Wednesday 28th September at the Assembly Rooms in Bath.

The AGM will also combine the Trust’s Annual Members’ Meeting and attendees will hear from key speakers on how the Trust has performed; its activities, challenges and achievements over the last financial year.

Brian Stables, Trust Chairman said: “All members of the public are welcome to attend the AGM. We will have information stands set up to inform people about our future plans and other key areas of activity which are taking place at the hospital.

“Staff and Governors will also be available to answer any questions you may have.

“So, if you are free on this date please come, as it’s also a good opportunity for you to tell us what you think of the care we deliver and how we can further improve patient, carer or visitor experience.

“Your feedback will help us to shape our clinical priorities for the year and set strategic goals.”

Those who attend the meeting will also hear about the Caring For You (CFY) programme which takes a behind-the-scenes look at specific areas of work at the RUH.

This year’s CFY session is about end of life care and will feature a presentation from Helen Meehan, Lead Nurse, Palliative Care and End of Life.

The AGM will be held in the Assembly Rooms on Bennett Street in Bath’s city centre from 5:45pm.

Doors will open and refreshments will be available from 5pm. Places must be booked in advance.

This can be done by calling the Membership Office on 01225 826288. To see this year’s agenda, visit www.ruh.nhs.uk/about/AGM.
