A new support group will be launched this June by a national charity to help those affected by blood cancer across the Bath and Somerset area.
The Bath Haematology Support Group has been set up by Leukaemia CARE, a national charity providing advice and support to anybody who has been affected by blood cancer.
The group is open to patients, their family and friends.
The first meeting will be on Wednesday 7th June, 6pm-7:30pm, at the Oasis Conference Room in the Royal United Hospital.
Nickey Bate, who coordinates the support groups for Leukaemia CARE, said: “This new support group is a great opportunity for patients and their loved ones to meet others in a similar situation.
“We’re looking forward to the ongoing development of the Bath support group.”
