George Street in Bath has been closed after a collision between a taxi and a Domino’s pizza delivery bike at the junction of Milsom Street.

The collision happened just before 2pm, and the road remains closed as the scene is investigated.

The rider of the motorbike, believed to be in his 30s, was rushed to the RUH.

The motorbike is believed to have collided with the passenger side of the taxi.

There have been no updates on the condition of the rider, though it is known the taxi driver was uninjured.

Bath’s Park and Ride buses are currently stuck inside the road closure, with services currently suspended while the scene is cleared.

15.20 update: The road has been re-opened and traffic is beginning to flow freely again.
