A report published today by Royal Mail has revealed that almost all of the First Class post across Bath is delivered on time.
The figures, which are for between April and June, show that 94.1% of the First Class across the BA area was delivered the very next day.
Bath’s posties have bettered the 93.4% national rate of delivering letters the next working day, with the Royal Mail target of 93%. The company also rose above its Second Class target, delivering 99% of all letters within three days, above the 98.5% aim.
The figures were announced in today’s Quality of Service report published by Royal Mail, which gave a detailed insight into the first quarter of the 2013/2014 year.
