Jewellery retailer Fabulous and The Allium Brasserie are among the first Bath businesses to sign up to support Bath in Fashion 2014.

The two companies are also planning to stage a Look Fabulous Styling Lunch within the city’s Abbey Hotel as part of the week long extravaganza in May.

Jo Stroud, managing director of Fabulous in Southgate, said: “This special lunch will give people the chance to find out which colours and styles of jewellery suit them best as well as learn what’s on trend in jewellery this season.

“As well as finding out what makes them look good, there will be the opportunity to enjoy food by Chris Staines at Allium Brasserie whose background is in Michelin starred restaurants and who is one of the leading chefs in the south west. We’re delighted to be working with him for what will be a great occasion and part of a super week celebrating Bath Fashion.”

The Bath BID Company organises the week to support businesses in the city and to promote Bath as a fashionable place to shop and visit.

Andrew Cooper, their Chief Executive, said: “It is fantastic to see local businesses showing their support and signing up for Bath in Fashion. The joining forces of Fabulous and Allium Brasserie will create an interesting lunchtime event and really add to the exciting and eclectic timetable for Bath in Fashion 2014.”

“Bath is famous for its unique style from the Roman Baths to its Georgian splendor from the Spa water to the Fashion Museum which, in 2013, celebrated 50 years of being in the city and we are sure visitors will have a great time.”

The Look Fabulous Styling lunch on Wednesday 7th May will cost £25 and include a two course lunch with a glass of wine, plus welcome glass of fizz and styling talk co-presented by Jo Stroud of Fabulous and Lyn Bromley, managing director of image consultancy First Impressions.

Fabulous – which recently became the first jewellery retailer in the UK to stock leading US brand Alex & Ani – will be bringing along jewellery for you to browse, try on and buy on the day.

You can book tickets by calling The Allium Brasserie on 01225 461603.
