Firefighters from Bath’s fire station have rescued a woman trapped in a car this afternoon, following a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Lansdown Road.
Fire crews were called after both a Fiat and a Porsche left the road.
Three people were assisted from their vehicles by the emergency services, however one person remained trapped.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the door of the Fiat car to free a woman, who was thought to be aged in her 40s.
She was taken from the car on a spinal board before being taken to hospital.
