Emergency services rushed to the aid of a van driver last night after his van overturned while travelling down Lansdown Lane in Bath.
Avon Fire and Rescue first received calls to the crash at 6.46pm yesterday evening and sent crews to the scene.
The van was travelling down Lansdown Lane when it mounted a verge and struck a telegraph pole just above the junction for Napier Road.
This caused the van to overturn.
A passing off-duty paramedic stopped at the scene to offer their help, though it’s believed the driver was not injured.
Avon Fire and Rescue were called to make the vehicle safe and Western Power Distribution also arrived to repair the fallen power cables and restore power.
