Firefighters from Bath’s Fire Station have come to the aid of a man after he was involved in a crash which left his car hanging precariously over a wall.
Avon Fire and Rescue were called to Prospect Road in Widcombe at 11.30am this morning.
When crews arrived they found the man, thought to be in his 80s, still in his BMW car with the rear of the vehicle balancing over an eight feet drop below.
Crews quickly stabilised the vehicle to ensure it wouldn’t move further.
They were then able to open the doors and assist the man to safety.
He was unharmed and did not go to hospital.
