A fallen tree on the train tracks between Bath Spa station and Westbury has left a number of trains being cancelled and diverted.
The location of the tree meant that trains were having to divert across the area and not call through Bath Spa.
Lines towards Westbury were blocked while Network Rail teams worked to remove the tree. It has now been removed and lines re-opened.
The tree is believed to have been brought down by earlier winds experienced across the area.
Network Rail also had to suspend services on the line from Chippenham to London as the winds became too strong for safe train travel.
A tree has fallen on the line between Bath Spa & Westbury. Westbury bound lines are blocked at present.
