A36 near Bath closed in both directions following serious collision

The A36 between Bathampton and Norton St Philip has been closed in both directions following a serious collision in the early hours of this morning.

The road is closed between the A366 and the A4, with traffic being diverted via local routes.

Multiple emergency services are in attendance at the scene, and Highways England has said they expect the A36 to remain closed through rush hour.
