The University of Bath will be opening its doors to prospective students and their families on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th June, with locals once again warned to expect delays across the city.
Some of the brightest students from across the country and beyond will be visiting Bath over the two Open Days at the University’s Claverton Campus.
Open Days give prospective students the chance to visit Bath to see for themselves the world-class courses and facilities on offer at the University.
They play an increasingly important role in helping students decide where they want to live and study.
Recently named a top 5 UK university in The Guardian University Guide 2018, and with a growing international profile, the University’s success in attracting the most talented students to Bath helps to put the city on the world stage as a global leader in education and research.
The University has worked closely with Bath & North East Somerset Council and others to ensure its June Open Days do not clash with any other major events taking place in the city.
By running two consecutive Open Days in June, the University is seeking to spread the volume of additional people visiting the city over two days instead of one.
Open Day visitors are encouraged where possible to make their way to Bath by public transport or to use the Lansdown Park and Ride facilities where extra bus services are planned.
