Bohemian Dreams, the events company behind the BoShow Wedding Festival, has partnered with Bath Spa University to offer a budding film student the opportunity to produce a short film covering the festival for alternative wedding couples.

The outdoor wedding festival, which takes place on Sunday 25th September, from 12-5pm at Field Good, Englishcombe Lane, is expected to see over 500 couples and wedding parties attend.

Over 60 alternative wedding suppliers will showcase their products and services – all of which are promised to add that wow factor to the big day.

Clarice Baker, second year Film and Screen Studies student at Bath Spa University, has been recruited to film behind the scenes at the festival as well as capturing the overall ambience of the day.

She will be shooting an access all areas short film clip for BoShow Wedding Festival to use in national marketing campaigns.

Bella Ubhi, founder of Bohemian Dreams said: “We strongly believe in helping young people and strengthening their job opportunities in such a competitive world.

“The BoShow Wedding Festival in Bath provides a perfect platform for a talented student to build their portfolio by putting the skills they’ve been taught at Bath Spa into practice in the workplace.”

Pandora Garwood, Job Shop Coordinator at Bath Spa University, commented: “BoShow Wedding Festival have given Clarice a fantastic opportunity to get some really valuable work experience in a very competitive industry, which will help boost her CV and career prospects when it comes to graduation.

“The company has been a pleasure to work with and I am very excited to see the end result from the project as well as working with them again in the future.”

Clarice Baker, second year Film and Screen Studies student at Bath Spa University, said: “I am so grateful to BoShow and their team for this amazing opportunity.

“As a student who aspires to be a film director, I am well aware of the challenges I will face in this industry. Being given the chance to demonstrate my skills in a professional environment is incredibly valuable and I hope this will pave the way for many more projects.”

Standard tickets to the festival on Sunday 25th September will cost £10 per person and are available to purchase at www.boshow.co.uk.
