A Year 12 student at The Royal High School, Isobel Pinder (known on stage as Isobel Holly), has stepped straight out of the studio and onto the stage to promote Sensibilities, the follow up to her 2015 debut EP.
Sensibilities is set to pick up where The Right Way Up, Isobel’s first EP, left off, whilst showcasing her ever growing song writing style and reaching out to new audiences with an ever changing aural aesthetic.
Isobel is set to take the UK music scene by storm with her inspired blend of jazz harmony and soulful rhythm and feel, tied together with heartfelt, story driven lyricism; offering something for all tastes.
Isobel is an experienced songwriter and performer, despite her tender age of 16, and has a constantly growing list of credits and accolades, from collaborations across genres to song writing awards.
Her recent solo career successes have included performances at Bath institutions Komedia (Supporting Lera Lynn at Bath International Music Festival) and Moles, as well as headlining at the prestigious Louisiana, Bristol.
Isobel has been subject to extensive coverage in 2016 on BBC Radio Bristol, stemming from the support given to her by BBC Introducing in the West throughout 2015, gaining her regular radio play, as well as an invitation to play for the BBC Bristol Garden Sessions.
Past successes have also seen Isobel travel internationally, from performances in Europe to following in the footsteps of lifelong hero Carole King, leaving her mark on the stage at legendary New York club, The Bitter End.
Alongside her songwriting and performing, Isobel is currently studying for her A Levels in Music, Italian, and Spanish.
Jo Duncan, Head at The Royal High School, said: “Isobel Holly is an extremely talented young singer/songwriter and everyone at The Royal High School is very proud of her.
“I have little doubt that she will enjoy a successful future career in the music business and I will follow her progress with interest.”
