Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a woman was robbed in the Brougham Hayes area of Bath, with her handbag being stolen during the incident in the early hours.
The incident happened at around 5.50am on Thursday 16th November.
The woman, in her 50s, was walking along Brougham Hayes when a man assaulted her and stole her handbag.
He is described as of very skinny build, around 5ft 7 to 5ft 8 in height, wearing a black hooded top and skinny black jeans.
He ran off in the direction of Victoria Road.
The bag was a black handbag containing various personal items. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and quote reference 5217262230.
