Two people, a man and a woman, have been taken to hospital after an incident near the new Riverside development in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to the Victoria Bridge Road area shortly after 12.30am.
A number of police vehicles and ambulances were sent to the scene.
A man and a woman have been taken to the Royal United Hospital in Weston for treatment, with their injuries described as serious but not life changing.
The woman is believed to be 29-years-old.
Police are still investigating the incident but have said they are looking to for a suspect.
