Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for information after a church was damaged in an arson attack, when the belongings of a rough sleeper were set alight.
The fire at the United Reform Church in Argyle Street was attended by the fire service at about 3am on Wednesday 8th November.
It appears a rough sleeper’s belongings were set alight and the fire spread to the doors, causing damage.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who might have seen the incident.
It’s possible that a passing taxi or delivery driver, or a person on their way to work, may have witnessed the offence.
