The police team say a Community Protection Notice has been issued and there has been a successful recall to prison for a man frequently causing drug-related anti-social behaviour and crime in the Kingsmead Square area.
They say: “Our ASB team are now in the process of applying for a Criminal Behaviour Order.”
The police added: “We have worked with several partner agencies on the temporary closure of an address in the city centre that was frequently being used for drug supply and linked to acquisitive crime.
“The resident, a vulnerable male who was being cuckooed by several offenders, has now been given emergency housing.”
