Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for help from the public to assist them in locating missing 23-year-old man Jack Cook, who may be carrying a sword.

The 23-year-old was last seen in the Cleeve Green area of Bath at around 9am today, Thursday 26th April.

Officers are concerned for his welfare and need the public’s help to locate him.

Jack is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall and of large build. He was wearing a light coloured T-shirt along with light coloured hooded top and tracksuit bottoms.

He is known to frequent the Twerton Woods area.

It’s believed Jack may be carrying an ornamental sword and while it’s not believed he poses any specific danger, the public are advised to call police immediately rather than approach him directly.

If you see him, call 999 straight away and provide the call handler with the reference 5218089774.

If you have information about his whereabouts call 101 quoting the same reference.
