Police appeal for witnesses after elderly woman seriously injured in collision

Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following a serious collision in which an elderly pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries.

The victim, an elderly woman, was injured when she was struck by a car near to the church of St Peter and St Paul in Kilmersdon, at around 12.30pm on Sunday 20th October.

She remains in hospital undergoing treatment.

A 55-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and police enquiries are ongoing.
