Police thank public after CCTV appeal launched following race-hate incident

Avon and Somerset Police are thanking everyone who has contacted them after a CCTV appeal in connection with a race hate crime on Moorland Road in Bath on Friday 13th March.

A police car with flashing blue lights

The incident happened at around 9pm at the entrance to a café-bar in the street.

A man coughed in the face of a Chinese man from Bath and made a comment about coronavirus.

Officers are now reviewing the information they have received, and the investigation continues.
