Avon and Somerset Police have named the man from Bath whose death earlier this week in the centre of Bath is being treated as unexplained, with three people having been arrested.

Patrick Gerald John Sullivan, 53, died after being taken to RUH on Wednesday, 16th December.

A post mortem carried out to establish a cause of death proved inconclusive and police enquiries are continuing.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who saw Patrick in the city centre on either Tuesday, 15th December or on the morning of 16th December.

They are particularly interested in speaking to any shopkeepers who may have seen Patrick as he is believed to have been in possession of some alcohol on 15th December and may have purchased it locally.

Three men, aged 44, 60 and 63, have been arrested in connection with his death and remain in custody.

Anyone who thinks they may have seen Patrick, or who has any information, is asked to call 101 quoting reference number 5215064211.
