Avon and Somerset Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in the Redland Park area of Bath.
Police say they were called at approximately 2.40pm this afternoon, Sunday 31st May, to reports of an assault in Redland Park in Twerton.
Officers attended and found a man who had suffered a stab wound to his leg.
His condition has been described as serious and he has been taken to hospital by paramedics.
An investigation into what happened is now underway and access in the area is currently being restricted.
A police helicopter has also been spotted near the scene.
