Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal to the public to help find Bill Rowbrey, aged 76, who has been missing in Bath since yesterday afternoon.

Bill travelled with his wife to the city by coach but he failed to return to the coach after going to the toilet at Bath coach station.

He was last seen at about 2.30pm.

It is possible that Bill, who is forgetful and gets confused easily, may have got on the wrong coach to return to his home in West Somerset.

He enjoys walking and could have walked from the coach station and then become confused and lost in the city.

There have been two possible sightings of Bill in the city centre and if he hasn’t got on a coach he may still be wandering around the city.

Police are urging people who are out and about in the city to look out for Bill.

Bill is a white man, 5ft 8ins tall of slim build with white hair and is wearing a blue and white checked shirt, blue jumper, a green three quarter length winter coat with a hood, light grey trousers and grey and blue coloured training shoes.

He also has a pair of sunglasses with him.

Officers would like Bill, or anyone spotting him to contact them. Call 101 quoting reference 5216053870.
