Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for help from the public to identify two people they want to speak to who may have information about a theft from an elderly woman on Southgate Street in Bath.

On Thursday 12th November, 2015, at around 1pm in the afternoon, whilst an elderly woman was using the Barclays Bank ATM machine, the victim was distracted, and her bank card was taken.

It has then been used to take £300 from her account.

CCTV images have been released showing a man and woman who officers believe might have some information which can help their enquiries.

The man is of a broad build, with facial hair, and is described as wearing a blue baseball cap, dark blue coat, light cream trousers and dark blue shoes.

The woman is described a young woman with dark, shoulder length hair and of a slim build.

She was wearing a blue waist length coat with a large collar, blue denim skin tight jeans and slip on shoes.

This may be part of a series of similar offences believed to be committed against the elderly.

Anyone with information should contact Crimestoppers immediately please, quoting reference: 5215039212
