Police Investigating Unexplained Death On Saltford Footpath

Avon and Somerset Police are currently investigating the unexplained death of a man near Saltford, after a member of the public found a body on a footpath.

Officers were called shortly before 8.30am yesterday (28th September) after a member of the public found the body on a footpath just off the Bath Road.

The man’s death is being treated as unexplained and enquires are ongoing to identify him and trace his next of kin.

A post-mortem is to take place to determine the cause of death.

Anyone with information is asked to call Avon and Somerset Police on 101 quoting log number 150 of 28/09.
